Native to Mexico and surrounding areas Beschorneria is a genus of succulent plants belonging to the family Agavaceae. Beschorneria yuccoides is known as the 'Mexican Lily' and with tall flower spikes to 200cm a clump forming perennial that does well in containers Beschorneria yuccoides is one of the hardiest of all of the Beschorneria. Others to look for include Beschorneria septentrionalis and Beschorneria albiflora.

Beschorneria like most succulents are sun loving, and are generally regared as drought tolerant. Like yuccas and agaves Beschorneria require very little maintenance.
