Stenomesson bulbs plants and species are a large genus of bulb originally from South America Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Bolivia and Chile. Stenomesson pearcei with its bright green leaves and large attractive yellow flowers are a sought after species. Like all Stenomesson they require a well drained soil and grow well in pots or containers. Other Species include: Stenomesson aurantiacum, Stenomesson chloranthum, Stenomesson coccineum, Stenomesson incarnatum, Stenomesson variegatum. Stenomesson are an attractive and relatively easy to grow bulb, a sunny well drained position, or in a container. Stenomesson prefer a dry dormant period. Some species have been reallocated to the Clinanthus genus. Stenomesson variegatum is now Clinanthus variegatus
