Isoplexis Plant Profile and Growing Notes

Isoplexis are a bushy evergreen shrub to 1m. With a long flowering period late spring through summer Isoplexis really add a great splash of colour to the border. Upright apricot flower spikes that look like a foxglove. Isoplexis caneriensis is readily available, Isoplexis sceptrum is worth searching for as it is reputed to be a more hardy variety, broader leaves and darker flowers. Isoplexis enjoy a humus rich well drained soil, partial shade and moist soil.
