Growing conditions for Hepatica

Hepatica (Liverleaf) is closely related to Anemone and are a spring flowering perennial. Hepatica prefer a woodland setting, dappled shade and a humus rich well drained soil. Hepatica flowers range from white through to blue.

Hepatica speciies include: Hepatica nobilis, Hepatica americana, Hepatica insularis and Hepatica acutiloba.
