Varieties care and growing informationGardenia Radicans varieties include : Gardenia Augusta Radicans, Gardenia Jasminoides Radicans and Gardenia radicans variegata. Gardenia augusta 'Radicans' is known as Creeping Gardenia. A prostrate form that will grow to 40cm. However?ΔΆ this depends on the cultivar and with some confusion between Gardenia Augusta Radicans and Gardenia Jasminoides Radicans it is difficult to tell. Some have smaller leaves than others, and the smaller leaved forms are generally more dry tolerant. Plant Gardenia Radicans in full sun to part shade, humus rich well drained soil, will flower during summer - autumn. We use Harrys Gardenia Food seems to work wonders for us..... |
