Eremophila Plant Profile and Growing Hints

Eremophila are found in semi-arid and arid regions of Australia, Eremophilas are also referred to as the Emu Bush, Fuchsia Bush, Tar bush and Turpentine Bush. Eremophila can tolerate a wide range of soil types, in general Eremophila require good drainage and full sun. Eremophila are a colourful native plant with a nectar that attracts honey eating birds. Eremophila can be pruned to preserve a bushy shape. Eremophila grow well in poor soils, fertilizer can be used, but use sparingly. Eremophila Warnesii has great grey green foliage and nice purple flowers.
