Bystropogon canariensis or 'Canary Island Smoke Bush' is a scented evergreen shrub. Bystropogon origanifolius is a lower growing species with perhaps a stronger scent. Bystropogon species are grown for the scented foliage as well as the plumes of flowers in summer.
