Australian Native Plants are increasingly popular with both home gardeners and landscapers due to the drought tolerant nature of many Australian Native Plants. Many species of Australian Native Plants are now being grafted onto stronger rootstock and with new hybrid varieties available with improved floral characteristics and hardiness Australian Native plants can grow in a range of climatic conditions. Eucalyptus caesia or 'Gungurru' is a smaller growing weeping type flowering eucalypt. A new range of native plants are now available on the Australian market, these include flowering ornamental plants such as Darwinia and Pimelea (Qualope Bells). Fantastic flowering plants, and when grafted are much more robust outside the natural habitat.
