STONE FRUIT TREES

Stone fruit Trees include peaches, apricots, nectarines and cherries.

Many dwarf and multi grafted varieties are now available that are well suited to the home garden or smaller orchard. Some of the smaller varieties are suite to grow in pots or can be espaliered if required.

In general stone fruit require a fertile well drained soil with access to water or moisture. Different cultivars and varieties are suited to different areas with some requiring a low chill factor to fruit well.
