Tristaniopsis laurina is one of three Australian species the others being Tristaniopsis collina and
Tristaniopsis exiliflora.
Tristaniopsis laurina is often referred to as the 'Water Gum', growing to approximatly 8m this species is widely used as a street tree, where it can be grown beneath power lines, requiring minimal pruning Tristaniopsis laurina can also be found in a variegated form Tristaniopsis laurina variegata (foliage pictured below).
Tristaniopsis collina grows to approximately 30m and along with Tristaniopsis exiliflora is not as commonly used in landscaping
