Conostylis Nurseries. Conostylis are related to Kangaroo Paws. Conostylis are a strap leafed plant that prefer a sunny position and a well drained soil. Conostylis candicans or Grey cottonheads are one of the more popular species. Conostylis aculeata (picture right) is the prickly conostylis Attractive strappy foliage and not that difficult to grow in a well drained sunny position. Yellow flowers from winter through spring. Drought tolerant, but may not flower in extremely dry conditions. |
