Billardiera scandens or 'climbing apple berry' are reputed to be used as a bush food, eated fresh or dried like sultanas. Billardiera scandens are somewhat difficult to find in nurseries.

Found in all of the Eastern Staes of Australia Apple Berry or Billardiera scandens is a climbing plant or ground cover that has fruit that tastes a little like stewed apples when fully ripe and are used as a bush tucker food. The flowers are small cream and tubular.
